Are old-fashioned ironstone dishes dishwasher safe? How about microwave?

I am looking to use old ironstone as my everyday dishes, but they need to be able to handle informal use, including microwave and dishwasher use. Does anyone else use ironstone in this way? Thanks!!

Yes.. those dishes are highly durable and safe in the oven, microwave, and dishwasher.

I dont but IRONstone sounds like it contains metal.. metal is NOT reputed to be in the microwave
